Rockwell Automation has developed the Entek Sentinel in an attempt to provide cost-effective and continuous vibration monitoring and protection for industrial machinery.The device can be placed directly on a vibrating surface to ensure that machines operate within acceptable limits, and/or to alert personnel to potentially harmful vibration effects.Most commonly applied to machines such as industrial centrifuges and rock grinders, the Sentinel is designed to withstand the harshest environments to ensure that continuous machine operation is maintained and production levels met. Its all-in-one construction makes it suited for applications in which dirt and grime may interfere with operations.
