A new high-pressure test facility has been built for calibrating ANSI Class 300 and 600 gas turbine meters, at pressures between zero and 1,000 psig, for meter sizes ranging from 3 to 8 in.The facility was built by the American Meter, Co. to help gas transmission and distribution companies reduce the measurement uncertainty often associated with gas turbine meters, especially when operated at pressures different from calibration pressures. Two buildings comprise the test facility:· A high-pressure test facility in Corry, Pennsylvania· A low-pressure test facility in Erie, Pennsylvania.
