摘要

A high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was used to separate polyamines (putrescine, spermine and spermidine) from 4 Taiwanese soils and their humic acids. A mineral soil with a low pH had the highest polyamine content. The purified humic acids significantly increased radicle growth of lettuce seedlings compared with untreated controls, but did not affect shoot growth.
