Mexican steel producer Terniumexpects steel shipments in Mexicofor the first quarter this year to be strongerthan the 1.41 million mt shipped in thefourth quarter of 2015, the company saidFebruary 24.The growth in demand, followed byseasonally weaker demand in Q4 2015, willbe “supported by healthy sales to theindustrial and non-residential constructionsectors,” Ternium said in a statementdiscussing its fourth-quarter results.
