Tokyo - Indonesia's Chandra Asri plans to increase the LPG cracking ratio at its sole steam cracker at Anyer in order to ease cost pressure from rising naphtha prices, a company source said Wednesday. The company plans to use around 5,000 mt of LPG for steam cracking in March, compared with 2,000 mt in February. The steam cracker, which is able to produce 600,000 mt/year of ethylene and 306,000 mt/year of propylene, is currently running at around 95%.
