TOKYO-Japan's Cabinet Nov. 29 approved draft legislation to extend financial and other support to victims of asbestos exposure who are not covered by an existing government worker disaster compensation program and to families of workers who have died of asbestos exposure in the workplace.The legislation calls for establishing a joint government-private fund that will be paid for by com-/ pulsory contributions from businesses.
