In July,buyers of standard thermoplastics in western Europe were confronted with almost unprecedented price increases.The rise in the cost of petrochemical feedstocks driven by the oil price madness catapulted in particular polyolefins skyward at enormous speed.As a reaction to shrinking margins,a number of different price models emerged,but in the end they all led to widespread increases.
