In line with expectations, notations for all PE grades fell in November. The decline of USD 66/t (EUR 53/t) was set against the backdrop of the fall in October's C2 notation - the first in a long time, PIE cooperation partner RTi (Fort Worth, Texas / USA; www.resinpros.com) reports. Contrary to Europe, North America's C2 contracts are fixed retroactively. It took until the end of the first week of December for November's contract to be settled at USD 1,004/t (EUR 805/t), about USD 110/t (EUR 88/t) lower, and the steepest decline in almost three years. As a result, RTi expects PE prices to fall significantly this month, with concessions that could exceed USD 200/t(EUR 160/t).
