The "Spot-Fire" was developed for detecting flames from early stage fires. It is a survey instrument that reacts to flames over a wide area of property and distance. The flame detection design standard is to detect a blaze from a one sq ft pan of gasoline at a distance of 300 feet. Our engineers optimized the physical, optical and software parameters and came up with technology that is far more sensitive.
