As the effects of climate change become increasingly hard to ignore, the need for sustainable, energy recovery systems becomes apparent. The SHARC Energy System is a wastewater recovery system that allows for environmentally friendly, energy efficient transfer of energy to and from raw sewage leaving almost any building. To learn more about this new technology the editor of Pollution Equipment News, Raquel Rimbach, sat down via phone interview to talk to the SHARC's creator and founder of International Wastewater Systems (IWS), Lynn Mueller.
