摘要

The reaction of manganese(II) and N′-((pyridine-2-yl)methylene) isonicotinohydrazide) led to the formation of a new 2D system, [Mn _3(N_3)_4(L)_2(H_2O) _2]_n·0.6(C_2H_5OH)·1. 4(H_2O). This compound crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1? with a = 8.2826(1), b = 9.2192(1), c = 11.2243(2) ? parameters, Z = 1. X-ray crystallographic data show that the azido groups act as bridges between neighboring manganese atoms, with the [-{L-Mn-(μ _(1,3)-N_3)_2-Mn-L}-(μ_(1,3)-N _3)-{Mn(1)-(OW(1))_2}-(μ_(1,1)-N _3)_2-]_n sequence forming chains which are extended into 2D layers through Mn to nitrogen atom bonding lying at the para position of the pyridine group of the ligand L. Analysis of the magnetic data reveals that the EO and EE azido bridges mediate ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions, respectively. Interestingly, this complex exhibits a ferrimagnetic-like behavior.
