STRASBOURG,France-The European Parliament Sept.5 approved a plan to streamline and update European Union legislation on inland transport of dangerous goods.Four directives covering road and rail transport will be replaced by a single new directive covering,the 27 EU states and the nations linked to the EU.in the European Economic Area:Iceland,Liechtenstein,and Norway.
