摘要

This paper reports on the reaction of [CpM(PPh3)(2)(L)](+/0)(Cp = eta(5)-C5H5; M = Os, L = CH3CN, DMSO Br; M = Ru, X = Cl, CH3CN) with diethyldithiocarbamate (S2CNEt2-). The exceptional kinetic stability of [Os-PPh3] compared to [Ru-PPh3] is reflected from the isolation of the monodentate diethyldithiocarbamate complex [CpOs(PPh3)(2)(kappa(1)-S2CNEt2)] (3) and the bidentate diethyldithiocarbamate complex [CpRu(PPh3)(kappa(2)-S2CNEt2)] (5) as the only products. The structure of [CpOs(PPh3)(2)(CH3CN)]BF4 (2 center dot BF4) and 5 were determined by X-ray diffraction. (c) 2006 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
