摘要

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have received increasing attention in recent years as a new class of nanoporous materials. These crystalline compounds basically consist of metal ions linked by organic bridging ligands. They have found wide range of applications including gas storage, gas separation, catalysis, luminescence, and drug delivery due to their large pore sizes, high porosity, high surface areas, and wide range of pore sizes and topologies. Textile application is one of the areas MOFs started to appear recently. Interesting chemical and physical properties of MOFs make them promising candidates for future developments in textile applications. This short review intends to introduce recent progress in application of MOFs in the field of textile engineering and some of the key advances that have been made in it.
