House legislation introduced Dec. 7 would require the Transportation Security Administration to measure the security threat across the various transportation modes and reorganize airline passenger screening.Under the Transportation Security Administration Reorganization Act of 2005(H.R. 4439),introduced by Rep. Dan Lungren(R-Calif.),TSA would have to establish a risk management system and then develop national transportation security policies based on perceived security threats.
