Portable systems continue to evolve at a staggering pace. One area within the system that's driving the evolution is the displays. In just the last 12 months, the displays with the devices we carry around with us have become bigger, brighter, and consume less power. One of those vendors contributing to the display improvement is LED maker Lumileds Lighting, which is currently pioneering in the automotive space, amongother areas. Today, the company is involved mostly with the outside of the car-in stop and turn-signal applications, moving shortly to front illumination and headlights.
