摘要

Future high-performance jet aircraft flying at high speeds will use jet fuel as a primary coolant for on-board heat sources, and as such they will have an increased thermal stability requirement [1,2]. For strategic and technical reasons, it is expected that thermally stable coal-derived materials will be incrementally incorporated into existing refinery operations for the production of thermally stable jet fuels [3]. Thermally stable jet fuel of the so-called JP-900, is targeted to be stable under operating temperatures as high as 900 deg F, and meet jet fuel specification.
