摘要

The hydrosilylation copolymerization of aliphatic α,ω-diketones with α,ω-dihydrido-oligodimethylsiloxanes is catalyzed by dihydridocarbonyltris-(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium (Ru), activated with a stoichiometric amount of styrene, to yield poly(silyl ether)s. These copolymers have been characterized spectroscopically by ~1H, ~(13)C, and ~(29)Si NMR, as well as by IR. Their molecular weight distributions (M_w/M_n) have been determined by GPC, their thermal stability by TGA, and their glass transition temperatures (T_gs) measured by DSC. End group analysis provides an independent measure of M_n. The effect of the length of the oligodimethylsiloxane unit on T_g, and chiral centers on ~(13)C and ~(29)Si NMR spectra are discussed.
