摘要

Over the last 3 decades, extensive studies have been performed aiming to improve our understanding of the properties of ionomers. These polymers have unique properties due to interactions between ionic groups. It is accepted that ionic groups aggregate to form ionic multiplets which are surrounded by regions of restricted mobility of polymer chains. When the ion concentration increases, the restricted mobility regions start to overlap to form large contiguous regions, called clusters.
