The occurrence of beetles in raspberry, meadows and forests was determined in a survey carried out in Poland. A total of 1949 ground beetles belonging to 52 species were collected. Pseudoophonus rufipes, Pterostichus oblongopunctatus, Carabus linnaei and Pterostichus cupreus were the dominant ground beetles recorded. The number of ground beetles was higher in the forest. In raspberry, Carabus cancellatus, Pterostichus cupreus and Pseudoophonus rufipes were dominant, whereas in meadows, Pseudoophonus rufipes, Poecilus cupreus and Anisodactylus binotatus were dominant. In the forest, Pterostichus oblongopunctatus, Carabus linnaei and Carabus violaceus were the most dominant..
