摘要

A planned regulation requiring notification of chemical application near sensitive sites has seen the NSW Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) consulting first with AEPMA before talking to other stakeholders such as consumer and environment groups. AEPMA Life Member and chair of AEPMA's NSW mandatory notification committee, Malcolm Trotter, told the inaugural meeting of AEPMA's new Greater Sydney sub-branch, it was pleasing that the association's credibility and peak industry body statuswas held in such high regard that AEPMA's opinion was sought at such an early stage.
