INDEPENDENT RESULTS have confirmed that Irrigation Accessories Co. (IACO) 15-foot Hose Booms reduced the amount of runoff by 24 percent during a multi-pass center pivot irrigation test.Dr. Troy Peters, Extension irrigationspecialist at Washington State University, recently completed his research on the efficacy of Boombacks using Innovative Boom Technology (iBt) utilizing Hose Booms. Peters shared his findings during a presentation at the 2014 IrrigationAssociation Show in Phoenix in November. The white paper, "Efficacy of Boom Systems in Controlling Runoff Under Center Pivots and Linear Move Irrigation Systems," is featured in the latest issue of Applied Engineering in Agriculture.
