摘要

Purpose: To propose a designing approach for determining the optimal parameters of a skip-lot sampling plan using the properties of the operating characteristic curve. Summary: Dodge proposed a continuous sampling plan known as CSP-1 in 1940, followed by a skip-lot-sampling pIanSkSP-1 in 1955, for continuous production of bulk lots with reduced samples. Later a skip-lot-sampling plan known SkSP-2 was introduced where the inspection of lots with superior quality are avoided which suited for chemical industries. This uses a single sampling plan as reference sampling plan. This paper proposes a methodology for estimating the parameters of SkSP-2 with double sampling plan as the reference plan. (13 refs.)
