Purpose: To propose methods to monitor linear profiles where correlation between response variables is not ignored to avoid misleading results. Summary: The proposed methods monitor multivariate structure in Phase II. Simulation studies are reported for performance comparisons via ARL criterion. Also, a method based on likelihood ratio approach is developed to determine the location of shifts, coupled with a simulation study. Finally a numerical example is used for comprehensive illustration. (33 refs.)
