Ever since the ISO 9000 series of standards have been introduced,there has been a need for the introduction of ISO 14000 environmental management standards.Though organizations across the world have already started implementing ISO 14000 series of standards,more and more companies are still finding ways to implement the same.In this regard,a survey is conducted among the electronics and chemical industries in Singapore to identify the motivational factors for the ISO 14000 implementation.A stepwise discriminant analysis is performed to develop this predictive model.
