Nerja has a long tradition and diversity of natural resources such as cliffs, coves with beaches, nature park and the spectacular Nerja Caves makes this place the most visited tourist attraction on the coast, with more than half a million visitors a year. This paper seeks to contribute to the design of a comprehensive tourism quality plan for the municipality, as a first step in the implementation of a destination quality management system. (64 refs.)
