A nonparametric exact quantile interval is developed for a RSS, which provides higher coverage probability and shorter expected length than its simple random sample (SRS) analog. In order to achieve the desired confidence level, a distribution free confidence interval that interpolates the adjacent order statistics is constructed. (18 refs.)
