First Quality Tissue's move last week to pursue plans for starting up two new 70,000 tons/yr through-air-dried (TAD) machines meant the company would delay plans for running a new PM on ATMOS technology. Contacts expected the ATMOS PM to run this year or early next year, but First Quality said on Feb. 14 that the PM is to start up in first quarter 2016. The lineup for the three new PMs is as follows: the first of the two TADs in third quarter 2015, the ATMOS in first quarter 2016, and the second TAD in third quarter 2016.
