Independent fine papers distributor Woodland Paper pres Bob Sauer is assuming the role of CEO and will be succeeded as pres by Andy McLaughlin, the Wixom, MI-based firm said Oct. 13. McLaughlin, who joined Woodland in 1997, will be respon- sible for strategic direction and assisting in oversight of the firm's operational and financial goals. Woodland also announced the appointment of John Taylor as VP responsible for regional and national sales. Taylor, a former sales mgr at Xpedx, will also help to develop operational and process improvements.
