Our quality department at Finansbank, Turkey was established at the beginning of 2006. I've been here for two years, from the outset. Before I worked at the bank I was working as a senior consultant for a national consultancy company. We used to manage projects for a very large mobile phone company, the biggest in Turkey, called Turkcell. I was the senior consultant and before I started at Finansbank, I worked on projects for them. I started in a national bank, and there was a special training programme for employees who they considered had high potential. While I was on this management training programme, I decided to work on something in the planning or research and development fields. So I started to employ the techniques I'd learnt at my first company - it was really just a personal choice. I was drawn to quality and what I believe it can achieve with-in a business - I've seen amazing changes with my own eyes.
