As a quality improvement practitioner, I thoroughly enjoy blending the theory and practice of quality management. But although I have worked in industry, academia is where I see my future. I like the flexibility of working m different organisations, as opposed to dedicating my ability to just one company. I'm someone who really likes to see how quality works in a range of manufacturing and public-sector organisations, such as healthcare, the police force, city councils and the higher education sector. Academia gives me the opportunity to see and learn a lot.
