It appears that a question that's been lingering around the Central Appalachian coalfields - which company is it the Indians are trying to buy - has been answered. It's Trinity Coal. As forewarned, Essar Group, a subsidiary of India's Essar Global, has reached an agreement with Denham Capital to acquire Trinity Coal's operations in West Virginia and Kentucky. The 600 million dollars deal, pending the normal round of approvals, is expected to be completed by April 1.
