We were unable to attend the 11~(th) Annual PRB Conference in Gillette, WY. however we were able to go on Ebay and purchase a pirated copy of one of the presentations.)We think we were bidding against the self-proclaimed 'date junkie' Dan Vaughn). Steve Doyle, president of Doyle Trading Consultants, spoke on the OTC market as it relates to PRB coal. According to Doyle. "In 2003, OTC volume fell significantly and PRB's piece of the pie declined from 43 percent to 26 percent. According to Evolution Market's web-based, coal and emissions 'resource center', 2004 OTC volume surpassed total 2003 volume (75 million tons) in June, and as of August 26, OTC vlume stood at 93 million tons with the PRB's piece of the pie remaining at 26 percent. These are extremely encouraging numbers, not only for the OTC market as a whole, but for the PRB market as well."
