摘要

Because of using in numerous foundries the alcali resols of the Carbophen type the research on the influence of these resins on the properties of the moulding sand bound with bentonite was carried out. The research comprised the influence of the addition of the not burnt-out cores as well as of the burnt-out core sand. In result of the research one could state that the unfavourable influence of the core sand bound with the resine of Carbophen type and hardened with CO_2 can only be observed when its addition to the moulding sand bound with bentonite exceeds 10 percent. A special effect on this influence has the potassium content in the sand. A great basicity of the core sand bound with the resine of Carbophen type is important also for the reclamation process of this sand; that is why the controle of the basicity of the sand with the increase of the amount of the circulation cycles plays an essential role.
