Some Optical Exceptions of Molecular Nanofilm-Structures

摘要

A microscopic theory of dielectric properties of ultrathin molecular films was formulated in boson and nearest-neighbor approximation. Dispersion law and distribution and probability of occurrence of exciton states were determined. Calculation of dynamical permittivity using the method of multi-pole Green's functions has shown that the threshold of light absorption can be shifted by frequencies with the change of the film thickness. Permittivity dependence on external electromagnetic field indicates the existence of discrete resonant lines, thus characteristic peaks appear in the frequency dependence of absorption index. The width of peaks increases with the increase of exciton spectral weights and there is a possibility to manage film dielectric response with suitable selection of values of boundary perturbation parameters. Refraction indices have abrupt changes in places where absorption index changes and refraction of ultrathin film has several--not very narrow peaks. All peaks are located in the infrared area. This can indicate a great contribution for the practical ultrathin film engineering, especially for the preparation of nanoparticles for drug delivery in nanomedicine.
