A review with 27 refs. covering removing of C_6H_6 from gasoline components, using of C_6 nonaromatics-free feedstocks for reforming, and hydroisomerizing of C_6H_6 into cycloalkanes to be kept in gasoline. Isolation of C_6H_6 from gasoline components is of marginal importance. Overproduction of C_6H_6 anticipated in view of its reduced content in gasolines is incorrect.
