Communication with and between UAVs and other sensor platforms is an essential part of ongoing special forces operations in theatres around the globe. Spedal operations forces (SOF) remain at the tip of the spear with regards to ongoing counterterrorism, counter-insurgency and military assistance campaigns across the contemporary operating environment, which continues to rely upon an ever expanding inventory of UAS.
