Superior hierarchy: A facile method was developed to synthesize hierarchical TiO_2 microspheres with nanotubular and dendritic structures. Owing to the high surface area and open porous networks, the synthesized TiO_2 microspheres exhibit a superior photocatalytic activity. This method provides a new strategy for the synthesis of hierarchical materials with particular morphologies.
