Teaching marketing in the classroom appears to be a thing of the past. By having students keep track of markets, students can learn things that will help them in the future whether they are farmers or if the choose other professions. Farmers need management and marketing skills to survive in a highly competitive business environment (Al-Rimawi, 2004).
