A DIVERSE group of young and mature pharmacists and students who, for the first time came from four states, contested the 'The Chemists Interstate Challenge Cricket Shield' at the annual pharmacy cricket carnival.This year's shield-winning team was Victoria, led by their captain Steve White. Luck was on their side as two Victorian team members also won raffle prizes.Though not successful with the shield, the young Tasmanian team outbid all contenders for a replica of the Ashes urn, and two ceramic cricket balls signed by members of the Australian and English Test teams at an auction conducted by Greg Hodgson, president of Pharmacy Cricket.
