APA's Awards for Distinguished Scientific Early Career Contributions to Psychology recognize psychologists who have demonstrated excellence early in their careers. One of the 2016 award winners is Greg Hajcak, whose "groundbreaking contributions applying psychophysiological methods to the affective neuroscience of anxiety, depression, psychosis, and related traits" and whose work "has identified promising risk biomarkers and intervention targets and has illuminated the development of, and mechanisms associated with, these disorders." Hajcak's award citation, biography, and bibliography are presented here.
