In the covariant light-front quark model, we investigate the D→V,A,T tensor form factors induced by c→u transition, which can contribute to radiative D(D_s) decays. The short distance contribution is much smaller than the experimental data, thus radiative D(D_s) decays is dominated by nonperturbative effect. We also include the weak annihilation contributions and the long distance contributions to D→Vγ. Our results for D→(K~(*0),φ{symbol})γ decays can approach the data and the other predictions should be checked with the BEPCII experiment.
