Charge/hole has direct relation with charge/delay but does not has any direct relation with pf & ppv. This indicates charge/delay will increase as charge/hole increases, which corroborate with Narsingarh plot (Fig4). Charge/delay has positive correlation with pf & ppv. This indicates ppv will increase as charge/delay increases this corroborates with trend line of Patharia plot. pf has direct relation with ppv. The ppv will increase as pf increases. The trend line indicates that the ppv value is increasing, probably because in the first four blasts Raydet was used where as in the last two blasts conventional delay was used. Though the increase is in the permissible limit of the DGMS. The trend line also indicates that the charge/delay is increasing where as the charge/hole is decreasing; this contradicts the Narsingarh Mine's plot. The charge/hole & charge/delay does not show any relation. The ppv value increases with increase in the charge/delay as far as trend line is concerned. From the above two plots it is very difficult to reach to any firm conclusion. More number of data are required for arriving to any conclusion. On the basis of above facts, the author has made an attempt by using correlation co-efficient analysis to find a relation between the blasting parameters.
