ACNIELSEN, one of Australia's leading market research agencies, has gained certification to the Australian Market and Social Research Standard through SAI Global Limited. The Standard, titled AS 4752 Market and Social Research, was introduced to Australia in 2004 and is designed to promote industry best practice and consumer protection. "We see great benefit to our systems and processes in adopting the new Australian Standard and continuing to ensure we are maintaining industry best practice," said Paul Richmond, Managing Director, ACNielsen Australia. "Our specialised quality team's dedication and commitment has enabled us to demonstrate that our business practices and management system meet the requirements of the Standard as well as the international quality management Standard ISO 9001. "It was reassuring to be working with Australia's largest and most recognised certification body on such a critical project and we are proud to display the famous "Five Ticks" StandardsMark brand which demonstrates independent verification of our practices."
