More than 50,000 people around the world are receiving instant email alerts on key developments in their area of interest from Standards Australia's StandardsWatch service, which represents a 100 per cent increase in users over the last year. The service, which was launched in May 2000 to deliver technical information on-line has grown from 25,000 to 50,000 users in the last 12 months. It has also grown in scope. In addition to the original 24,000 Australian, ISO and IEC Standards, over 20,000 German, Japanese and Eurpoean Telecommunication [ETSI] Standards have been added in recent months. As soon as a Standard is published or revised in a nominated interest area, Standards Australia can send you an immediate alert once you have signed up for this service.
