THE NSW DEPARTMENT OF LANDS has achieved certification through SAI Global against the internationally recognised Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) Standard. The Department's Director General, Warwick Watkins, said that gaining certification is an extremely important and positive outcome for the department and its customers. "Certification verifies through external objective evidence that we have systems in place to protect client information and mechanisms to identify improvements and lock them in.
