摘要

Metastatic melanomas have a poor response to conventional monotherapy. Therefore, effective and safe combination therapy is required to compensate for the weakness of the individual therapies. The innate immune system includes Toll-like receptors (TLR) such as TLR9, which recognizes unmethy-lated cytosine guanine dinucleotide (CpG). Stimulation of TLR9 induces innate and adaptive immune responses for antitumor activity through activation of plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC), B cells, natural killer (NK) cells, T-helper (Th)1 cells and cytotoxic T cells (CTL).
