Ashy dermatosis is an extensive, asymptomatic, blue-gray-colored, patchy eruption that is universally accepted as a clini-copathological entity. It was first described by Ramirez in 1957. In contrast to the "asymptomatic" description in the published works, herein we report a case of ashy dermatosis exhibiting an atypical clinical manifestation of "symptomatic" erythema with relatively strong pruritic sensation and scaling in the early phase.
