摘要

Aiming at the small sample size problem of effective recognition characteristic information in the process of face recognition, a method of face recognition based on local singular value decomposition and grey relational analysis is presented in this paper. This method obtains weights by calculating the correlation coefficients of facial region, and utilizes grey relational analysis to recognize face. The experiments were conducted by means of ORL face-database and Yale face-database. We utilized the top 10 largest singular value feature vectors of each facial region to represent the facial image. The results of the experiments show that this face recognition methods can obtain correct recognition results with small sample facial feature information.
