The opportunity to study timber framing with Henry Russell, the craftesman responsible for the award winning RFS Chalet, is available next month in Devon. Henry Russell, one of Britain's foremost and enthusiastic timber framers, will be tutoring a series of three, five day long courses in traditional style 'Green Oak' timber framing in Devon this August. Taking place at Eastern Hill Farm, Dunsford near Exeter, the courses will suit those with some knowledge of carpentry and working with hand and power tools wishing to develop skills in what is becoming an expanding industry as well as experienced builders wishing to expand their skills. There is also room for those with less experience of carpentry.
